SBOC the National library named after Akhmet-Zaki Validi of the Republic of Bashkortostan provides the following services in order to fulfill the state task:

1. Reference and bibliographic services for users:

• Providing information about the presence of certain documents in the Fund:
• availability of traditional card catalogs,
• availability of the electronic catalogue,
• reference and bibliographic service,
• virtual reference service on the library website,
• access through the library's website to the Consolidated electronic catalogue of libraries of Russia and the Consolidated electronic catalogue of libraries of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

2.Services on the provision of documents for temporary use:

• Issuance of documents from the main and subsidiary funds for use in reading rooms, except for book monuments and other documents, access to which is limited by law;
• possibility of pre-order by phone for publications from the main and subsidiary funds;
• possibility of using an electronic order form for publications from the main and subsidiary funds;
• Issuance of documents from the subsidiary funds of subscriptions for use outside the library:
• possibility to pre-order by phone or through a virtual service on one of the subsidiary funds;
• extension of the period of use of publications by phone or through a virtual service;
• The possibility of obtaining publications through the library Interlibrary subscription system.

3. Access to remote network resources:

• Access through the electronic reading room to certain databases of libraries and of organizations of the Russian Federation;
• Access to electronic resources created by the library ("Electronic library»);
• Access to the Internet in the hall of electronic resources via Wi-Fi;
• The library website also provides access to the following sources:
• database "Electronic collection of works of Bashkir literature, music and fine arts".

4. Services on the organization and carrying out cultural and educational events:

• Participation in the events held by the library (conferences, workshops “round tables”, information days, specialist days, patent hours, presentations, meetings, etc.)
• The opportunity to get acquainted with the documents from the subsidiary and fixed assets of the library at the exposition and exhibition events.
